Elden Ring: How to get Ash of War Bloody Slash

The Ash of War powers you gain in Elden Ring allow you to add unique talents to your weapons, further defining and improving them on your quest. They're strewn throughout the place in the game. A few of them, like the Ash of War: Bloody Slash, can be obtained from NPCs or received as a reward after defeating one. You'll need to travel to Fort Haight, which is located in the southern portion of Limgrave East. There will be an elite NPC with a huge sword and shield at the top of the fort with whom you will have to battle. During the battle, the warrior will wield their sword with both hands, turning it red and inflicting greater damage on you.

When you defeat this foe, you'll receive the Ash of War: Bloody Slash, which is comparable to the NPC's attack on you. This strike lowers the weapon's Strength and Dexterity and adds an Arcane attribute scaling to it. However, you gain the Bloody Slash attack, which causes your opponent to bleed.
