Elden Ring: How to get to the island to the southwest of Limgrave Chruch of the Dragon Communion

Players will arrive at Limgrave after completing the tutorial and exploring the grand world of The Lands Between. Players are likely to spot an island off the Southwest coast of the starting area through exploring or finding the Limgrave West map fragment. While the island appears to be only a short swim away, Tarnished is unable to swim, therefore you will have to find another means to get there. Fortunately, the way forward is not far away.

Travel through the Coastal Cave

To get to the island, players must first pass through the Coastal Cave, a tiny dungeon located near the island's beach. Because the cave is completely dark, players will need to bring a torch, which can be purchased from a vendor inside the Church of Elleh. Prior to the boss area, which includes the twin Demi-Human Chiefs, the cave has a number of rather easy foes to defeat. 

Right before the boss cave, there is a summon place that you should probably use. The twin bosses aren't particularly difficult, but there are approximately a dozen additional gangs in the chamber.

After you've killed these bosses, you'll see another passage towards the cave's back. There is a teleport there that will return you to the beginning of the dungeon; however, you should not use it. Rather, run around it and through the tunnel. There are a few adversaries in this tunnel, but they aren't particularly dangerous. Players will arrive on the island southwest of Limgrave after completing the cave's egress.

The Church of Dragon Communion

A grace point is located near the beach, and a church is located at the top of the hill. That is The Church of Dragon Communion, where players with a Dragon Heart can obtain dragon incantations. Dragonfire, Dragonclaw, and Dragonmaw are the three incantations available for purchase at the church, each costing one Dragon Heart. 

You probably don't have a Dragon Heart yet if you locate this island early in the game, but now you know where to go if you do. There are a few other goods to pick up throughout the island, and there are no challenging adversaries to battle, so make sure you check it out.
