Genshin Impact 2.5 Character Banners: Yae Miko, Raiden Shogun, and Sangonomiya Kokomi

Genshin Impact announced the game's next major update this morning, which includes new content for the Inazuma region. For the first time, Yae Miko will be playable, the Enkanomiya sub-region will have its own event, and players will be able to face a boss who resembles the Raiden Shogun.

Yae Miko is the Inazuma region's head priestess and the creator of a book publishing firm. While Yae Miko's moveset has been leaked for some time, nothing was known until today, as characters are frequently altered before their official release. Today, players received full confirmation of Yae Miko's moveset, which is based on dealing AoE Electro damage both on and off the field. Kaguya's Verity, her hallmark weapon, will be accompanied by a distinctive character banner.

The Raiden Shogun and Sangomiya Kokomi banners will loop throughout the second half of the 2.5 updates, while Yae's banner will run during the first half.

Yae will have her own character quest, which will run concurrently with Raiden Shogun's new character quest, both of which will provide additional details about Inazuma's past. Players will be able to unlock a weekly boss that looks like Raiden Shogun at some point during the update. Despite her resemblance to Inazuma's goddess, the announcers were deliberate in not revealing her identity.

Genshin Impact 2.5 Character Banners

First Phase

Only one banner will be featured in the first half of Genshin Impact 2.5, showcasing 5-star Electro Character Yae Miko. The first Weapon banner will debut Kagura's Verity, a 5-star catalyst, and the high likelihood of Jade Primordial Cutter, a 5-star blade, as the second weapon.

Second Phase

We'll get two replays for the second part of Genshin Impact 2.5, which will premiere on March 9, 2022: Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi. The second weapon banner will most likely contain Engulfing Lighting and Everlasting Moonglow if Baal and Kokomi have replayed in the forthcoming edition.
