Genshin Impact 2.5 update maintenance schedule: Start and end time

On their social media networks, miHoYo has finally posted the patch notes for Genshin Impact version 2.5. Players will now have a better understanding of the updated maintenance schedule and what to expect in the future edition.

New players should be aware that the servers will be unavailable after the maintenance begins, and they will be unable to play until the server reopens. Because of this slight inconvenience, gamers will receive a large recompense in the form of Primogems from Genshin Impact.

Start and end time for Genshin Impact 2.5 update maintenance

To ensure that all Travelers enjoy the best possible Genshin Impact experience, the devs will soon begin doing update maintenance. The game will be updated to a new version at 6:00 a.m. (UTC+8) on February 16, and the maintenance is expected to last five hours and end around 11:00 a.m.

After installing the most recent game client, travelers will be able to continue playing. Because of the large file size, gamers are advised to download the update over a Wi-Fi connection. During the update maintenance, players will be unable to log in to the game. Please keep track of the update time and appropriately organize players' playing time to avoid losing their game progress.

Players can rejoin the game once the server is up and running again to experience the new update. Yae Miko, a new 5-star Electro character, will be added to the roster in version 2.5, and players can wish for her via the Character Event Wish banner.

Primogems compensation for 2.5 update maintenance

Every maintenance update from Genshin Impact includes Primogem compensation, and version 2.5 is no exception. Travelers will get a minimum of 300 Primogems, with 60 Primogems awarded for each hour the servers are unavailable. Even if the upgrade is done early, the compensation amount will remain unchanged.

Keep in mind that this reimbursement is only available to Travelers who have achieved Adventure Rank 5 or higher. Within five hours of the maintenance being done, the creators will send the Primogems to Travelers via in-game mail. Players should collect their reimbursement as soon as possible because the mail will expire in 30 days.

Players should be aware of the maintenance schedule so that it does not interfere with their gaming time, especially because they will be unable to enter the game during the update.
