Genshin Impact 2.5 update release date, character, and weapon banners

Official announcements and a slew of Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks have provided a lot of information about what gamers may expect to see in the near future. On February 16, 2022, Genshin Impact 2.5 will be released. That is also when the first banners will be released. What players presently know about the impending banners is as follows:

Phase 1: Yae Miko, Fischl, Diona, and Thoma

Phase 1: Kagura's Verity, Primordial Jade Cutter, Eye of Perception, Rainslasher, and Stringless

Phase 2: Kokomi rerun

Phase 2: Raiden Shogun rerun

Some players believe that Engulfing Lightning and Everlasting Moonglow will be included in the second banner, although this is pure speculation. It's worth mentioning that the 4-star characters and weaponry for Phase 1 were obtained through a series of recent leaks.

Genshin Impact 2.5 update release date plus information on the character and weapon banners

The release date for Genshin Impact 2.5 and Yae Miko's character banner is February 16, 2022. There will be no other 5-star characters running alongside Yae Miko in this update, therefore there will only be three character banners.

She is a brand new 5-star Electro Catalyst that many players have been waiting for since Inazuma was originally made available a few updates back.

Travelers should also be aware that the Story Quests of Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun will be available at the start of the 2.5 release. A new weekly boss will drop Talent Level-Up Material for Yae Miko in the latter.

Phase 1 banners for Genshin Impact 2.5

The last Special Program did not tell anything about the impending banners. For example, the above tweet was sent out a long ago, and it gave away a lot about the upcoming 4-star characters and 5-star weapons.

MiHoYo has not confirmed any of the Event Wish details, thus they are still subject to change. The character banner, which will debut on February 16, 2022, will include:

• Yae Miko
• Fischl
• Diona
• Thoma

In the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Discord, the same leaker also mentioned the 4-star weapons. Though Eye of Perception and Rainslasher isn't the most popular weapons, the 5-star weapons that have been released thus far have piqued the interest of certain Travelers.

Phase 2 banners for update 2.5

The remaining Genshin Impact 2.5 banners are yet unknown. All Travelers officially know is that in the second half of the version update, Kokomi and Raiden Shogun will have reruns.

Based on the current 21-day cycles, these reruns should take place around March 9, 2022. More banner details leaks are expected in the near future. Alternatively, miHoYo might reveal them in a tweet, as they have previously done.
