Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks: The Chasm will release in Version 2.6

The Chasm, like Dragonspine and Enkanomiya, is an upcoming expansion area for Genshin Impact. Mondstadt's expansion is Dragonspine, while Inazuma's expansion is Enkanomiya. As a result, The Chasm will serve as a similar feature for Liyue, which is currently the only region without a significant side area.

Since the game's debut, rumors regarding The Chasm have been circulating, but it appears that those rumors will be put to rest. According to several leakers, The Chasm will be released in Version 2.6 of the game, adding a new playable area to Liyue.

Many different leakers, including Waffel and Ubatcha, have backed up this notion. According to one fan theory, The Chasm would also serve as an introduction to the Dendro element, which is the game's only unreleased feature. Dendro, on the other hand, is expected to be introduced in Sumeru.

Ubatcha also stated that The Chasm will be released in stages, similar to how Inazuma expanded over multiple updates. Version 2.6 is expected to include Kamisato Ayato, a much-anticipated playable character, as well as a re-run of Ayaka and Yoimiya.

Remember to take any leak with a grain of salt until miHoYo officially confirms it. All of the above information has yet to be verified.
