Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks: Yelan a Hydro character with Kirin Bow reveal

Yelan, a forthcoming 5-star Hydro character who will wield the formidable Kirin Bow, has been revealed by Genshin Impact leaks. Yelan was first shown a few updates back, although there was little information about her at the time. Fans have now gotten their first glance at Yelan's in-game model thanks to this new leak. She appears to have a distinct style that many of the game's characters haven't seen before.

Yelan's model, as well as her element and weapon type, were discovered in the files of the 2.6 update beta by Genshin Impact leakers. Yelan will be a 5-star Hydro Bow user who will most likely wait until version 2.7 to release.

Her playable data isn't currently in the game files, so fans will have to wait until the next beta to learn more about her kit. Even so, knowing her element and weapon type can aid in speculating on her gear.

Yelan will most likely have a unique mechanism with her archery strengthened by this bow, as leaks have indicated to her using the newly revamped Kirin Bow. Whether it's Childe's stance swapping or Ganyu's powerful augmented charged blasts, several of Genshin's 5-star bow users have a unique manner of using their bow.

As a Hydro character, Yelan may have a synergy with Ayato Kamisato, who may be launched as another formidable Hydro 5-star after the 2.6 updates. These latest Yelan leaks appear to disprove prior theories that she appeared in Liyue's cutscene in version 2.1. Yelan appears to be a brand-new character, yet she could have ties to the game's previous characters.

Players should keep an eye out for additional Yelan leaks, however, it's doubtful that any real information will be revealed until a later beta release.
