Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks: Yelan and Kuki Shinobu to be released

If recent reports are to be believed, Genshin Impact 2.7 will include playable characters Yelan and Kuki Shinobu. Kuki Shinobu is said to be a 4-star character, whereas Yelan is said to be a 5-star Hydro Bow user. The model for the former, as well as her Hydro Vision, has been leaked.

Unfortunately, these leaks do not identify which phase of Genshin Impact 2.7 they will appear in, only that they will be playable at some point. Because Kuki Shinobu has far fewer leaks than Yelan, this piece will concentrate on Yelan. It's also worth noting that these disclosures haven't been confirmed, though there's a fair probability they will be based on the credibility of the leakers.

Genshin Impact 2.7 leaks: Yelan and Kuki Shinobu

According to the first significant leak, these two characters will be playable in Genshin Impact 2.7. Yelan is a 5-star character, according to the tweet, whereas Kuki Shinobu is a 4-star character. The top of the tweet bears a [Questionable] tag, indicating that the information hasn't been validated yet.

It's too early to say whether or not this leak is accurate. Previous leaks with the same [Questionable] tag have turned out to be genuine, such as a weekly boss in 2.5 starring the Raiden Shogun. Similarly, some [Questionable] leaks turned out to be false, such as Heizou being in Version 2.6 while he's currently presumed to be in Version 2.8.

One of these characters, according to another reliable leak, will debut in Genshin Impact 2.7. In the past, the above leaker has been correct about a number of things, including all of the 2.4 weapons, the pricing of Keqing's skin, and Ayato's appearance in the first banner of Version 2.6.

Although the tweet above makes no mention of Kuki Shinobu, it does suggest that the other leaked character will be playable in Genshin Impact 2.7. The message comes from a different leaker, so it's intriguing to see something similar mentioned by numerous sources.

Prior to the 3.0 upgrade, Ayato was the second-to-last 5-star character, according to the tweet. In this situation, Yelan is the final 5-star character, as recent sources indicate that she will be playable in Genshin Impact 2.7. If the previous leak is correct, Kuki Shinobu could still appear in this update.

Leaked models

At the time, Kuki Shinobu does not have a model leaked, but Yelan does. Her appearance is revealed in the preceding tweet, which also mentions that she is a Hydro Bow user. If the earlier leaks are correct, she's a 5-star Hydro Bow user, a distinction held by only Childe within the existing playable cast.

So far, none of her powers have been revealed. Right now, gamers just have her model, rarity, Vision, and weapon type. At an unspecified time, the character will also appear in a cutscene using Kirin Bow. Unfortunately, little is known about this weapon, therefore players have no idea what its stats or effects are at the moment. As Genshin Impact 2.7 approaches, players will have access to additional useful information (assuming the previous leaks are accurate).
