Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks: Xiao and Ayato signature artifacts sets
In Genshin Impact version 2.6, Xiao and Ayato will receive custom artifact sets. While the former is already a powerful DPS unit, the latter is a character that will be introduced in the 2.6 release. According to genshin leaks, Xiao's artifact set is mostly focused on making the most of his Elemental Burst. The other set boosts a character's DMG for Normal Attack.
Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks reveal artifact sets for Xiao and Ayato
The following are the two artifact sets that have been leaked in Genshin Impact:
Vermilion Hereafter
- 2-piece: ATK +18%
- 4-piece: After utilizing an Elemental Burst, the character receives a buff that boosts their ATK by 8% for 16 seconds. When a character's HP is depleted, their ATK is increased by 10%. This ATK bonus might occur up to four times every 0.8 seconds.
Vermilion Hereafter's 2-piece bonus is identical to the artifact sets Gladiator's Finale and Shimenawa's Reminiscence in Genshin Impact. Because Xiao is an on-field DPS character, the ATK percent bonus is desirable. When used on Xiao, however, the 4-piece set may break. His major source of damage is his Elemental Burst, and this four-piece enhancement raises his ATK by 8% for 16 seconds during the burst.
During the burst, Xiao also loses HP with each plunging attack. Every time he loses HP, he will earn another 10% ATK benefit with this set. The buff can appear once every 0.8 seconds and stack up to four times. The main drawback to Xiao's explosive DPS burst was the loss of HP, which the Vermilion Hereafter set would change into a benefit.
Echoes of an Offering
2-piece: ATK +18%
4-piece: Normal Attack (NA) has a 36% chance of activating (once every 0.3s) a buff that increases NA DMG by 60% of ATK. The bonus lasts for 0.05 seconds after the next DMG-dealing Normal Attack. If a Normal Attack does not activate the bonus, the next Normal Attack has a 20% increased chance of doing so.
Like Shimenawa's Reminiscence, Gladiator's Finale, and the aforementioned Vermilion Hereafter, the Echoes of an Offering artifact set grants an 18 percent ATK bonus. The four-piece set focuses on enhancing the character's Normal Attack damage. Ayato can't use Plunging or Charged Attacks because of his Elemental Skill, therefore all of his AoE Hydro DMG comes from Normal Attacks.
As a result, this set can indirectly increase the viability of Ayato's Elemental Skill. Many players, however, remain doubtful that this will be the best-in-slot set for him. Overall, it's too early to speculate on the significance of the upcoming relics. They could be overpowered, or they could be easily replaced by other versatile sets.
