Horizon Forbidden West: Should you choose not yet or let’s go during Dying Lands?

In Horizon Forbidden West, there are a few times when you'll be required to make a decision that will have a significant impact on the next section of a quest and even your time. This tutorial discusses the differences between not yet and let's go in the main quest of Dying Lands so you know what you're getting into.

Choose let’s go if you’ve got a lot of time to spare

If you select Let's Go, you'll have to finish the rest of the quest, which will take at least 30 minutes. Before reaching a natural point where you can stop without losing progress, Aloy must explore a hidden repair facility and defeat a boss. Along the journey, there are no campfires. Once you've defeated the boss and overcome Hephaestus in the Repair Facility's central computer, you can safely exit the game without losing your progress.

If you don't complete the main objective yet, you'll have more time to explore Plainsong, accomplish side tasks, store up on resources, and do whatever you like. Furthermore, choosing Let's Go will not cost you anything because you can return after the mission is completed to take up where you left off with all of the NPCs in this region.
