Lost Ark: How the Rapport system works

One of the small pleasures of playing MMORPGs is managing your relationships with NPCs, and in Lost Ark, it can be just as rewarding as bashing dragons in the face with an ax the size of your entire character. Players can use the Rapport system to form bonds with various Lost Ark characters, which can eventually lead to rewards.

The Rapport system is similar to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance's monster raising system in that it is simple to use. To use it, go to the Rapport menu and check through the Rapport NPCs that are available. You can see not only the potential prizes for developing Rapport with each individual but also where you may find them in the setting of Raiders of Lost Ark. When you've found the NPCs you want to befriend, go to their area and talk to them. The behaviors listed below will help you create rapport with NPCs:

• Getting quests done for them.
• This may only be done once per NPC when using emotes that they respond positively to.
• Playing specific Sheet Music; can only be done once per NPC.

• Providing them with goodies. Because each NPC character in Lost Ark prefers a specific type of present, don't squander other stuff on them because it won't help you create rapport. The preferred gifts list can be found in the Rapport menu.

When you complete the acts indicated above a sufficient number of times, your Rapport level with the NPC in question will rise, and you will be rewarded. With each Rapport NPC in Lost Ark, you can only perform this a specific number of times.
