Lost Ark: How to unlock and complete Abyss Dungeons

In Lost Ark, Abyss Dungeons are high-level endgame activities. They are limited in that you can only farm their rewards a few times per week, but the rewards are well worth it. We'll show you how to unlock Abyss Dungeons in Lost Ark and how to complete them in this brief guide.

Unlocking Abyss Dungeons

Abyss Dungeons are only accessible to players who have reached level 50 because they constitute endgame content. To get them, you'll need to complete the Blue World questline, which takes place mostly in Northern Vern. You will eventually be given the Waiting and Leaving task, which you must complete in order to get entrance to the Abyss Dungeons.

Then go to one of Lost Ark's major cities, view the map, and look for a symbol that looks like a gate with a blue crystal: these are the Abyss Dungeons entrance points. You may also use the interface to find other people who want to go on Abyss Dungeon runs with you or form your own group.

Completing Abyss Dungeons

Farming Abyss Dungeons in Lost Ark boils down to using the appropriate build for each one, as each one is different and provides its own set of problems. The minimum item level requirements for Abyss Dungeons vary, ranging from 325 on the low end to 1325 on the high end.

Whichever Abyss Dungeon you choose, make sure you're comfortable with your gear and upgrades, and that you're joined by a solid group. In an ideal world, you'd play Lost Ark's Abyss Dungeons with a pre-made group of buddies, all of whom would be in voice chat. Finally, keep in mind that you can only run each Abyss Dungeon with each of your characters three times every week.
