Nintendo Switch Sports has been revealed, and it will add new games and fan-favorite modes to the renowned Wii Sports series for the forthcoming release. The latest installment in the Nintendo sports franchise brings back classics like tennis and bowling while also providing new sports for your Miis to compete in, such as soccer and badminton.

On April 29, 2022, Nintendo Switch Sports will be released with six base game modes and multiplayer for both local and internet play. However, before the game's formal release, Nintendo will organize an online playtest to iron out all of the technical problems of multiplayer.

Nintendo Switch Sports Online Play Test will be open from February 18 through February 20th, ahead of its official release. During the playtest, only returning modes including Bowling, Chambara, and Tennis will be available. Furthermore, it will only support random matchmaking, with the option to play with friends arriving after the game is actually released.
