Pokémon Legends Arceus: Where to Find Cherrim and Cherubi

Pokemon Legends: Arceus deviates from the standard Pokemon paradigm in a number of ways, most notably with regard to missions and requests. Some are as simple as catching a Shinx or Zubat, while others require players to spend hours searching for a rare monster in order to complete a Pokedex entry.

For example, many players despise the request "To Bloom or Not to Bloom," which requires them to provide Kichi of the Agriculture Corps a full Pokedex entry for Cherrim. On the surface, that doesn't appear to be a difficult chore, given that the requests "Adorable Starly" and "The Timbre of the Fields" required players to fill out Pokedex entries for Starly and Kricketot, respectively. Those two Pokemon, on the other hand, are extremely prevalent, especially in the early stages. Cherrim, on the other hand, is extremely rare, and you won't be able to complete this Pokedex entry if you never discover one.

Where to Find Cherrim

Every Pokemon has a preferred habitat. Water-types like Psyduck and Shellos prefer to hang out near or in the water, whereas Fire-types like Magmar prefer to hang out in volcanic areas. Cherrim, on the other hand, prefers to hang out in trees. You can't just throw a Poke Ball at any tree and expect a Cherrim to come out.

You've definitely observed fruit trees when wandering through Hisui. If you give these trees a good shake, they'll drop berries, apricorns, and other goodies, but if they're already shaking, that implies a wild Pokemon is hiding in the foliage. It only takes one shove to startle the beast out into the open.

You can't just go after any shivering tree and expect a Cherrim to appear. They can only be found in Obsidian Fieldlands' The Heartwood, Coronet Highlands' Lonely Spring, Fabled Spring, and Primeval Grotto, and Crimson Mirelands Gapejaw Bog. Of course, if a Cherrim falls out of a tree, it will attack right away (much like you would if someone trespassed on your property), so you'll have to fight the Pokemon to catch it.

Even if you don't catch the Cherrim, even watching one fall from a tree contributes to the completeness of your Pokedex.

Where to Find Cherubi

If the gods of RNG aren't on your side and you can't seem to find a Cherrim, it's time to switch gears. Why not evolve a Cherubi into a Cherrim instead of catching and fighting them to complete a Cherrim Pokedex entry?

Cherubi, like Cherrim, spends their days lounging in swaying trees. The Cherubi, fortunately, also live in the same places. Because Cherubi is more numerous than Cherrim (though they are still uncommon), you're more likely to come across some when looking for Cherrim. While you must still battle Cherubi in order to capture them, once you have one in your possession, you can evolve it after it reaches level 25. Then you're almost done with Cherrim's entry in the Pokedex.
