Elden Ring Minimum requirements on PC
The PC may not be the best platform for showcasing Elden Ring's beauty, but it will demand a powerful graphics card if the minimum system requirements are any indicator. According to PC Gamer, FromSoftware released Elden Ring's minimal system requirements for a brief period before hastily removing them. Nothing, thankfully for us (but possibly unfortunately for FromSoftware), vanishes once it's on the internet! Let's have a look at it.
Elden Ring minimum requirements
- Windows 10 and Windows 11 are the operating systems available.
- Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X processor
- RAM: 12 GB RAM
- Nvidia GeForce 1060 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB graphics
- Version 12 of DirectX
- 60 GB of storage space is available.
The 12GB of RAM is really impressive. By comparison, even graphics powerhouses like Dying Light 2 Stay Human only demand 8GB of RAM. It's ironic that FromSoftware was scared by the technical skill of the Demon's Souls remake, given that Elden Ring appears to be one of the most demanding games in recent memory.
However, it's difficult to say if they are the final system requirements. After all, FromSoftware most likely removed the information for a reason. Elden Ring is Steam's most-wanted game, so the producers knew fans would notice the change quickly.
