Lost Ark: Female Berserker release date

The North American release of Raiders of the Lost Ark served as a stark reminder that, while female representation in games has sparked a lot of discussion in North America over the last two decades, that hasn't been the case everywhere else. While the cosmetic aspect of the problem is bad enough, players believe that gender-locking the classes is a worse mistake for Lost Ark.

At the moment, each class has a default gender, and the best players can hope for is a gender-swapped version of the archetype, complete with its own abilities and stats. The female Berserker class in Raiders of the Lost Ark has been hinted at and is currently in development.

Smilegate has not yet revealed a release date for the female Berserker class in Lost Ark, but given the timing of the formal revelation, we expect the class to arrive in 2022. When the female Berserker class launches, it'll probably have a similar playstyle to the existing Berserker class, albeit with slightly different skills and stats.

It will almost certainly have a different name. Many Lost Ark players, on the other hand, would love the female Berserker to be just that: a playable Berserker with a female character model.
