Lost Ark: How to farm Portal Stones

The Adventurer's Tome in the newly-released MMO Lost Ark is set to keep players occupied for dozens of hours as they hunt down special elite monsters, world bosses, and uncommon drops all around Arkesia. For starters, even the most determined adventurers will find it tough to complete everything for a single continent.

Finding Portal Stones is one of the objectives players have on the Rethramis continent in the Adventurer's Tome. Players should anticipate spending some time farming for these drops, just as they did for Regulus Statue fragments and the Aquilok's Skin.

Portal Stones can be found across Rethramis, although players should concentrate their efforts in the districts of Loghill, Ankumo Mountain, and Rethramis Border. Due to a short re-queue, dungeons in the area, such as Aquilok's Head and Aquilok's Tail, can be a good way to farm these drops. Players shouldn't be too concerned about upgrading the difficulty for a greater chance at loot because these instances can be completed on Hard with relative ease.

The Portal Stones' flavor text does not appear to offer an increased drop chance because it mentions Loghill and the bandits who live there. The Rethramis Border provided one gateway stone in an hour of testing, but Loghill provided none. To complete the drop quest in the Tome, players must find a total of four Portal Stones.

Apart from making sure you're on the right continent, there's not much else you can do but hunt everything in your way. For a better chance, pay extra attention to elite monsters and World Bosses like Rudric, but these materials can drop from any enemy.
