Lost Ark: How to fix not launching issues

Lost Ark is a Diablo-style MMO in which you'll be smashing through dozens of opponents with a handful of powers. Because Lost Ark is an MMO, you should expect a few issues if your internet connection or servers go down. What should you do, though, if the game does not launch? There are a few different things you can try. This article explains how to resolve Lost Ark issues (not launch issues) and how to handle them effectively.

The first step is to locate the application in your Steam library and double-check the files. This may be done by right-clicking the game in your Steam library, going to properties, and selecting local files. After that, you'll get an option to check the game files' integrity. Select it, and a brief update will occur to confirm that all of the game's data were downloaded correctly.

Next, we recommend that you upgrade your graphics card on your computer. If you have an AMD or NVIDIA graphics card, you will be able to do so. You may either go to the official websites for each of those devices or do it from your computer. Any updated graphics drivers you require should be accessible for download and installation on your end.

After you've installed the graphics drivers, the following step is to play the game as an administrator. You'll need to locate the game application on your desktop, right-click it, and select Run as Administrator. You may also ensure you're always administrator while playing the game by right-clicking the launcher on your desktop, heading to properties, and selecting the compatibility tab.
