Apple Releasing iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 Next Week confirms

Apple has stated that the next iOS 15 updates will arrive next week, which means it will be ready for download around March 16. Apple disclosed the last in the line of M1 CPUs, the M1 Ultra, which is available in the new Mac Studio, at the March Event.

There's also a new iPhone SE 3 for 2022, an iPad Air 5, and a new green color option for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, all of which will be available to buy on March 11. Every iPhone that can download iOS 15 is eligible to update to iOS 15.4 and take benefit of the new features.

What's new in iOS 15.4?

The ability to utilize Face ID while wearing a mask is the highlight of iOS 15.4. It will request a scan of your face while you are wearing one so that it can learn how you look around the mask. There are also emoji upgrades, including new hand gestures, a new salute emoji, improved gender support, and more, which you can use in Mail, iMessage, and other iOS apps.

If you have an Apple Card, a new widget lets you check the balance. Notes can also be added to the iCloud keychain. There are also some more upgrades.

When iOS 15.4 is released next week, you'll be able to download it by going to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone, where it will appear as an available update.
