Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: How to open the chest in Hreidmar Palace

In Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok, the Hreidmar Palace is one of the game's highest points. It's been overtaken by invading Muspel, and there's lots of loot for you to collect. A chest may be found on the palace's top outside section, however, it requires a key to open. We'll show you how to unlock the chest at Hreidmar Palace in Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok in this guide.

You'll need to go to the northeast corner of the palace, which is a level below where you'll discover the chest. Along the route, you may come across a few Muspel foes; however, make sure you find one with the Power of Muspelheim on them. You'll need it to open the chest and get the key. When you get to the area, you should see a hand on the opposite side of the lava holding the key.

To use the chest, you'll need to return to where you discovered it after reaching the point and grabbing the key. You'll find the Legacy of Ivaldi mythological hammer within, which you can use during the rest of your Dawn of Ragnarok quest or take back to England with you.
