Elden Ring: How to Get to Church of Repose

The Rivers of Blood katana may be obtained at the Church of Repose in Elden Ring, but you won't be able to grab it until you kill the man who wields it. Players of Elden Ring will never let go of powerful weaponry in the game. Every player is on the lookout for a weapon that complements his persona. If your character is built on melee fighting and you wish to focus your leveling on Dex and Strength, you should pay a visit to the Church of Repose.

Okina is an NPC you may have encountered earlier in the game when fighting Radahn. He is one of the buddies who can assist you in defeating Radahn, but you won't be able to use his formidable katana until you defeat him in a one-on-one encounter.

How to Get to Church of Repose in Elden Ring

The Church of Repose is found at the Giants' Mountaintops, which involves activating the Grand Lift or Rold, as well as defeating Morgott, the Omen King at Leyndell.

To travel to the Church of Repose, activate the Grand Lift of Rold and then follow the path marked in the figure below. On your journey, you'll come across a number of Sites of Grace, so make sure to activate these as well. When you arrive at the Church of Repose, Okina will appear and infiltrate your reality. It is not a required fight, but you must defeat him in order to obtain the Rivers of Blood katana.
