Elden Ring: How to get the Gargoyle’s Blackblade

It's never fun to deal with gargoyles. If you've ever tried to face the Valiant Gargoyles in Nokron, you know how terrible gargoyles can be. While these animals are obnoxious, they do occasionally bestow upon you some excellent weaponry. Take the Blackblade of the Gargoyle. When battling with the undead, this greatsword deals with natural holy damage, which is quite useful. The Gargoyle's Blackblade may be found in Elden Ring here.

This weapon is a little difficult to come by, but you can get it rather early in the game from the Caelid region. While you can go there on your horse, if you follow D's questline, you can quickly teleport there. If you prefer to ride to the weapon's location, you must travel to Caelid's far northeastern corner. This is where the Bestial Sanctum can be found. If you opt to teleport there, you must complete D's quest in the following order.
  • Outside of Summonwater Village, speak with D.
  • In Summonwater Village, defeat the Tibia Mariner.
  • To find the location of the teleporter that will transport you to the Bestial Sanctum, speak with D in either Roundtable Hold or Summonwater Village.
  • From the teleporter behind the Third Church of Marika in Mistwood, travel to Bestial Sanctum.
When you arrive at the Bestial Sanctum, you'll discover a huge gargoyle guarding the entrance. The Black Blade Kindred's boss is this gargoyle. You'll get the Gargoyle's Blackblade if you defeat this boss. Be cautious, for this adversary is very vicious at lower levels.

If you utilize magic and stand inside the Bestial Sanctum while it attacks, you may easily cheese this fight. Most of the attacks will miss you, and the rest can be easily avoided by shooting magic through the door's breach.
