Elden Ring: Should you use a Stonesword Key in the Tombsward Catacombs?

Several Imp Statues may be found throughout Elden Ring's open environment, which emits force fields that prohibit you from visiting certain regions. Stonesword Keys can be used to open these areas. While exploring the Tombsward Catacombs, you'll come across one such force field, but what lies beyond the gate may not be worth it.

When you use a Stonesword Key on this Imp Statue, you'll be attacked by two skeletons in a room. The Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook (9), which allows you to make Rancor Pots, can be found in the center of the chamber.

Rancor Pots are throwable goods that deplete FP and summon spirits to attack whichever adversary the pot strikes. These goods were not very useful in our experience. They're nearly useless for magic builds, and they don't play well with melee builds. With this in mind, we don't advocate using your Stonesword Key in the Tombsward Catacombs unless you're a completer who wants to complete the game 100 percent.
