Throughout their adventure through Elden Ring, players will be faced with several options. Some of these decisions have long-term consequences, preventing the player from progressing through questlines or even obtaining exclusive endings.

White-Faced Varré gives players a choice as they go through his questline, asking whether the Two Fingers "felt right" or "were magnificent." The implications of this decision may appear frightening at first, but gamers may rest assured that they aren't as awful as they appear.

“They didn’t seem right” or “They were magnificent”?

Players must first vanquish one of the demigods and meet the Two Fingers at Roundtable Hold in order to receive this Varré quest. When the player first meets Varré at the start of the game, he will advise the player to fight Godrick the Grafted first, which can be a quick and easy approach to accomplish this goal.

Varré will next see you in Rose Church in Liurna of the Lakes, where he will ask you what you think of the purported "masters of the grace," as he describes them. Players must select "They didn't feel right" to continue Varré's questline and receive more dialogue from him.

This decision, though, is mostly irrelevant. Varré will feign agreement with you if you say "They were magnificent," and you can chat with him again to obtain the prompt a second time. Following each of Varré's instructions will just allow you to go on with his mission; despite how important his words appear to be, there is nothing vital you will miss if you join his side.

Surprisingly, this is a quality shared by a number of other key NPCs. Ranni the Witch and the dreadful Dung Eater are among them. There are still some questlines that the player may lose out on in certain circumstances, but there's no need to be concerned about Varré's choice.
