Elden Ring: What are Primeval Sorceries and where to find them

The low-level mobs outside of Godrick's Keep don't kill you in two hits, all the Sites of Grace are open to warp to, and sorcerers who make it this far are more than likely to have discovered a Primeval Sorcery or two. Primeval Sorceries is a collection of three sorceries that cause massive quantities of damage, scale according to on Intelligence, and are bestowed upon the player by NPCs or in response to certain events later in the game.

The first is Comet Azur, a large projectile spell that drops a lump of space rock on everything that gets in the line of its caster. Comet Axure may be located past the Hermit Village on Mt. Gelmir and is handed to the player by the Primeval Sorcerer Azur, who can be found near the Site of Grace right before the hut.

The Founding Rain of Stars is an AoE Sorcery that conjures a cloud that pours down damaging bolts for a set amount of time. Casting Founding Rain of Stars needs 52 Intelligence, and players must travel to Heretical Rise on the Mountaintops of the Giants to discover an unseen bridge across the ravine to the tower. Finally, Stars of Ruin is projectile sorcery that uses 43 Intelligence to cast and shoot 12-star beams at its target. Players must first obtain the Sellian Sealbreaker through Sorceress Sellen's questline, then travel to Sellia Hideaway to lift the arcane ward in the second pit, where Master Lusat will provide them the sorcery.
