Elden Ring: What is the location of Murkwater Cave?
Murkwater Cave is located midway up the west side of the ravine leading north from Lake Agheel in West Limgrave in Elden Ring. It is around halfway between the Limgrave Tunnels Site of Grace and the Murkwater Coast Site of Grace and has its own Site of Grace.
The easiest way to get to the Murkwater Cave entrance is to drop down from the cliff on the west side of the ravine, although this will cost you a few hundred health in falling damage. Alternatively, you can fight your way through the ravine's undead army at the south end. They have an unpleasant habit of resurrecting, but they aren't really threatening.
Unfortunately, you will be raided by a hostile NPC named Bloody Finger Nerijus as you approach the Murkwater Cave entrance, and the cave entrance will be closed. He's tougher than anything you'll face inside Murkwater Cave, but with the help of Yura, Hunter of Bloody Fingers, he'll be easy to defeat. To obtain the Reduvia Dagger, kill him.
You can race out of the ravine if you're not powerful enough to combat Bloody Finger Nerijus, and he'll return to his own realm. Bloody Finger Nerijus should no longer spawn if you return to the Murkwater Cave entrance without resting or fast travelling first, allowing you to enter Murkwater Cave in peace.
