Elden Ring: What to do with the Remembrance of the Blood Lord

Mohg, Lord of Blood, is one of Elden Ring's hidden bosses, and locating him will take some effort. If you find and beat him, you'll receive the Remembrance of the Blood Lord, which you may deliver to Finger Reader Enia in Roundtable Hold in exchange for some high-quality loot.

Giving the Remembrance to Enia will grant you one of two items: Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear or the Bloodboon incantation. The spear is a massive, heavy weapon that may be used with 24 Strength, 27 Arcane, and 14 Dexterity. The weapon also causes blood loss, which is appropriate given that it was obtained by defeating the Lord of Blood.

Bloodboon Ritual, the spear's unique talent, is an AOE assault that causes up to three blood explosions. Bloodflame coating the spear when you use the skill, temporarily increasing your strike strength.

In the meantime, the Bloodboon incantation is a magical attack that engulfs a large area in blood flame. It has a decent range and looks beautiful in motion, but it's not very effective against NPCs or other players. It takes a long time to come out, and it's also quite weak. Even if you have a magic-focused build, it's difficult to recommend this spell in place of Remembrance.
