Elden Ring: Where to Activate Morgott’s Great Rune

To unleash Morgott's great Rune in Elden Ring, the player must defeat the boss. The Divine Tower associated with Morgott is unique in that it is beyond an area that Morgott has sealed off from the player, requiring them to defeat him before they can access the passageways leading to the Divine Tower and the Site of Grace that lies before it. This article will explain Morgott's Great Rune and how to go to the Divine Tower to activate it.

Where to Activate Morgott’s Great Rune in Elden Ring

After defeating Morgott, the player can activate the Divine Tower of East Altus in Elden Ring, Capital Outskirts. Following Morgott's death, the Mountaintop of Giants' seal should be lifted, allowing access to the realms beyond Leyndell and the Divine Tower's connecting sections.

The Divine Tower can be reached in much the same way as the Forbidden Lands. Starting at the East Capital Ramparts Site of Grace, going east outside the open castle gate. Taking an elevator to the Capital Outskirts' elevator chamber.

From there, instead of taking the elevator down into the Forbidden Lands, players should proceed forward across the bridge leading onto the Divine Tower of East Altus' grounds. They may suddenly be engulfed in darkness when they cross the bridge. Not to worry, this is by design. After coping with the related occurrence, players can proceed to the Divine Tower's terrace, where they can find a Site of Grace.

The Divine Tower's Great Rune of Morgott can be activated by players. Morgott's Great Rune increases the player's Vitality, extending their health bar. This is useful later in the game when foes hit harder in Leyndell and Liurnia. With Morgott's Great Rune in hand, players should feel more secure entering the Kingdom of the Giants.
