Elden Ring: Where to find Ash of War Shield Crash

You can uncover a variety of battle moves in Elden Ring, and Ash of War: Shield Crash can successfully slam your adversaries out of the path when a shield is equipped. This is where you'll find it. The Lux Ruins to the north of Liurnia are home to Ash of War: Shield Crash. It's north of Dectus' Grand Lift and northeast of the grace-filled Abandoned Coffin location. The Lux Ruins are also close to the Erdtree-Gazing Hill place of grace.

Take out all of the foes in front of you once you get at the Lux Ruins' entrance. There is only one hard-hitting enemy, so evade and strike whenever the opportunity arises. We rapidly dispatched them using the Bloody Slash ability. You'll next enter the main hallway, where you'll be surrounded by more of the lesser monsters from the previous phase. Take them out one by one before they congregate.

Stop at the end of the hallway and look to the right after you've defeated all of these monsters. A silver ball should be waiting for you on its own. Don't rush up to it. It will fade away from your sight. Instead, whip out your bow and arrow, target the ball with the L2 button (LT on Xbox), and launch a powerful strike. The silver ball should vanish, giving you the skill Ash of War: Shield Crash.

Return to the Table of Lost Grace and speak with Smithing Master Hewg to equip it to your shield. Add the Shield Crash ability to the "Ashes of War" section of the menu. You can choose between a cold and a magical shield.
