Elden Ring: Where to find Sanctuary Stone and what it does
Sanctuary Stone is a difficult crafting resource to get by in Elden Ring. It does not grow in abundance in any particular spot, unlike many other crafting materials, nor can it be found in large deposits in deep mines and catacombs. It is "rarely" found near the remains of fallen ruins, according to the in-game description.
Hundreds of Ruin Fragments can be found on and around the fallen ruins, however, there aren't many Sanctuary Stones. Killing Pumpkin Heads, who have a high chance of dropping Sanctuary Stones, is the most dependable way to obtain them. So, if you wish to farm Sanctuary Stones, go to Saintsbridge in Limgrave West's northeast corner.
The Twin Maiden Husks in Roundtable Hold will sell you as many Sanctuary Stones as you want, but only after you've brought them the Somberstone Miner's Bell Bearing [4]. Gnolls found in Crumbling Farum Azula and Abnormal Stone Clusters located surrounding Evergaols also drop Sanctuary Stones.
Only one known crafting recipe uses Sanctuary Stones: Warming Stone. The recipe for a Warming Stone can be found in the Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [19], and it allows you to use FP to recover the health of allies. One Sanctuary Stone, one Erdleaf Flower, and one Smoldering Butterfly are required for each Warming Stone.
