Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: How to plant a Data Scraper at the tail of an IO Airship

The next duty in the Resistance questline will be to deploy a Data Scraper at the tail of an IO Airship once players in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 have created a large number of device uplinks for The Imagined. Of course, these airships are rather straightforward to locate, but determining exactly where to install the device might be a difficult task. Here's how to get a lot of XP in a short amount of time.

It's worth noting that you'll be given the Data Scraper right away, so you won't have to look for it beforehand. You can place the device aboard any of the six airships at the designated places, as illustrated below. The side of these ships with the ramp with wings is the tail. When you get close to the tail, look for a panel that emits white light from the ship's side. This is where the Data scrapper will be planted. Simply press the same button you use to switch to your pickaxe to install the device.

You will receive an additional 24,000 XP after you complete the quest, but don't expect another quest to follow this one. It's the final of the Week 1 Resistance tasks, after all. Week 2 of the questline is currently scheduled to begin on March 29 at 9 a.m. ET.
