Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2: What are Omni Chips and how do you use them?

Fortnite has introduced Omni Chips, which players should acquire in order to construct one unique cosmetic, similar to the feathers in Chapter 3 Season 1. Despite the fact that this notion isn't new, the game's most recent season fails to explain how to gather these chips or what they do. Players must first obtain the Omni Sword Harvesting Tool from Page 1 of the Chapter 3 Season 2 Battle Pass in order to find Omni Chips. The questline "Omni Sword" will be activated in the Quests menu as a result. Every week, the questline will give three tasks, all of which will be available until the end of the season. They will also point you to specific sites, such as Mighty Monument, where you can locate three Omni Chips.

Those who have the Omni Sword and a quantity of Omni Chips can spend the chips on other Omni Sword styles by going to the Battle Pass tab's "Reprogram Omni Sword" menu. Omni Chips can buy new Omni blades, handguards, colors, and sounds, as seen above. So, once they've collected enough chips, players can construct the sword anyway they want.

In this option, some designs — usually the greatest — will appear locked. That's because they have requirements that need you to purchase other designs from the same category before you can possess it. Furthermore, these closed designs usually cost one or two Omni Chips more than the others, so get to work.
