Gran Turismo 7: How to change display settings
It's no secret that Gran Turismo 7 takes racing games more seriously than virtually any other. As a result, drivers may be overwhelmed by the number of detailed images on display during a race. Thankfully, individuals seeking a more minimalist design or even a better camera position can choose from a variety of settings to ensure a clear path ahead.
In GT7, drivers can change the HUD and camera angles by going to the options tab from the icon in the top-left corner of the main menu, or by going to the settings option in the pause screen during a race. Display options include selecting what race information is displayed and whether or not car or driver names are listed in the standings, as seen below. The Cockpit and Chase camera angles can even be adjusted in height, depth, and orientation.
If you just want to remove the HUD visuals from the bottom of the screen (as most people prefer), go to the Show Race Info drop-down option in Settings and select "Race Info Only." The HUD will only display the race standings, lap count, and track layout in the upper corners of the screen if you do this.
