Gran Turismo 7: How to change your car’s color
Gran Turismo 7 is brimming with detail, and the variety of paint styles and hues is mind-boggling. Here's how to modify your car's colour and buy additional versions in Gran Turismo 7. You won't be able to change the colour of your car until later in the game. Within the first few hours of the game, you'll unlock the GT Auto mode by progressing through the campaign and completing automobile menus from the café.
You can change the color of your car's paint in GT Auto mode. Choose "Customize automobiles" from the bottom right of the main menu screen by pressing the cross button. A menu will appear with your current vehicle. However, for the time being, you may only purchase paints and other accessories. You can choose from hundreds of various possibilities in a variety of categories, including:
- Real Car Paint
- Flakes
- Dark Flakes
- Matte Metallic
- Aluminum Metallic
- Liquid Metallic
- Matte
- Half Matte
- Satin
- Fluorescent
- Matte Fluorescent
- Candy Metallic
- Dark Candy Metallic
- Chrome
- Colorshift
- Carbon
You can buy legally labeled hues like Ford's Royal Maroon and Porsche's Fayence Yellow, among many others, in the real automobile paint part of the menu. You can buy paint here at scaled pricing, but you'll have to equip it in the "Livery Editor" to make it official. It's the sixth item on the menu, and it's marked with a paintbrush. To begin, click the "Create Design" cross button.
