Kirby and the Forgotten Land: How to catch the Legendary Fish while fishing

When you need a break from the normal stages in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Waddle Dee Town has plenty of side diversions to keep you occupied. Flash Fishing, a fishing mini-game, is one of them. This is how you catch the legendary fish in the Big One mini-game. When you catch the Big One, it will reward you with 500 Star Coins and a figure of Kirby asleep while fishing. If you don't know what to expect when you go in, getting it can be difficult.

To capture the fabled Big One, you must be willing to spend some time at the pond. Initially, you'll be capturing smaller fish and earning equivalent Star Coin prizes. Get in the habit of pressing the buttons as soon as they appear. The more consistently you catch fish without failing, the larger fish will become hooked.

When Kirby tries to draw in fish after four button presses but has to continue the struggle, you know you're getting close. The camera will slightly zoom in after a few more pushes. Prepare yourself; there will be one more X button to press, and you must do so almost instantaneously. If you get it right, you'll be rewarded with a golden fish.
