Lost Ark: How to complete the Find the Guardian quest
Due in no small part to their successful and far-reaching adventurer's guild, the Arkesian continent of Vern is admirably militarised against the menace of monsters. The looming threats of Chaos Dungeons and Guardians meet their end as adventurers flock to Vern Castle in search of work. Capable of organizing and mobilizing the best combat talent that Lost Ark has to offer — that is, its players — the looming threats of Chaos Dungeons and Guardians meet their end as adventurers flock to Vern Castle in search of work. However, every new adventurer who joins the guild must begin their boss monster-slaying someplace. To get their feet wet in late-game material, Rookies are given the quest Find the Guardian, which requires them to fight the weakest of Lost Ark's Guardian bosses, Ur'nil.
Requirements and guild standards
Ur'nil, although being the weakest of the Guardians, is no pushover. The guild is well aware of this and uses it to keep the unwary from stumbling into certain doom. Players must reach level 50 on their chosen character in order to join an Ur'nil raiding force. Due to the fact that players are likely to arrive in Vern late in the process of pursuing the main storyline and improving their equipment, their experience will almost certainly have reached 50 levels by the time they arrive at the guild.
These Guardian raiders, on the other hand, must be well outfitted for the job. Ur'nil and every other Guardian classed in difficulty tier 1 require an item level of 302 or higher to try. Because even the best-equipped adventurers will arrive in Vern with gear that is only around item level 250, this barrier is far more difficult for first-timers to cross. While Guardian Raids are available in Vern, players must first travel beyond Vern to Shushire and beyond in order to obtain higher gear.
Participating in Guardian Raids
Guardian Raid bulletin boards will appear in all of Arkesia's major cities after completing the Find the Guardian quest and unlocking Guardian Raids. They will display on the player's minimap as red banners and can be interacted with to arrange raiding teams with players from all around Arkesia. While Guardian Raids can be achieved by a well-equipped and experienced adventurer who just clicks "Enter" on the bulletin board, players are urged to work together in raiding teams of up to four players to complete these difficult challenges. By clicking "Matching," you can simply create parties, or by clicking "Find Party," you can queue lone players into available matchmaking teams.
