Sea of Thieves: Can you still get The Good Boy ship?

Pirate teams were assigned random ships and colors back when players could compete in The Arena of Sea of Thieves. The Good Boy, a white and gold ship with a grey wolf as its symbol, was the most elusive of all ships. Rare permitted players to win The Good Boy ship cosmetic set for a limited period when the Sea of Thieves team permanently shut down the game's Arena mode - but unless you were a devoted Arena player, you probably already missed it.

The Good Boy ship cosmetics were only available to players who had attained Sea Dogs level 50, which took a long time for Arena players. However, there was a deadline: only players who reached that level by January 27 completed the requirements for the hull, figurehead, sails, and flag. If this is the case, such options should be available when you design your ship at a Shipwright station in an outpost.

The common ship cosmetics for the Azure Scout, Flaming Jackal, Golden Chaser, Lucky Rover, and Regal Hound will be given to players who have reached Sea Dogs level 5. However, since The Arena is no longer accessible as of Season Six, there is no means to advance your Sea Dogs reputation, and since we're already past the deadline, getting The Good Boy set is impossible unless you have a time machine.

Rare has stood by their choice, calling it an "extra present" and "added thank you" for players who were "really dedicated" to The Arena. Never say never when it comes to the set becoming available in other ways in the future, but for the time being, the choice appears to be definite.
