There is a beast deep within Tangledrift that yearns to be freed from its captivity. The elder wyvern requires your assistance in order to return to the heavens. This mission may be found on a poster in Tangledrift. Start the Walk the Stalk side quest to get access to Tangledrift. Help the elder wyvern

Make your way to Tangledrift's forge to begin the quest. The forge is only a short distance away, and you'll have to hop across a few mushrooms to get there. When you arrive, go inside and speak with the senior wyvern. After speaking with the elder wyvern, enter the basement through the left door and down the steps. Push the lever at the end of the basement, avoiding all of the fire traps. This will turn the machine off.

Turn off the mechanism and get food

Return to the elder wyvern and ascend the stairs to the right of his prison. When you get outside, you'll have two goals: switch off the mechanism and get some food. It's up to you whether or not you want to eat. By locating the slumber, clearing the space, and hitting it until it enters the pen, you can provide food for the wyvern.
