Does Gran Turismo 7 have ray tracing?
The Gran Turismo series is noted for its stunning graphics and accurate automobile replicas. With ray tracing, though, Gran Turismo 7 may look even better. Is the game capable of supporting it? Continue reading to find out.
You're in luck if you like this upgraded style of the lighting system. At least for the PS5 edition of Gran Turismo 7, ray tracing is supported right out of the box. Owners of the PS4 version of the game, please accept my apologies.
Press the "Options" menu on the main hub menu, and then pick "Options." Then select "Video Output," which is the third box on the screen with a circle and a horizontal line in the centre of a television. You'll see "Graphics Priority for PlayStation 5" after pressing the cross button on it.
You now have two choices. You can choose between ray tracing and frame rate. With ray tracing enabled, we didn't notice much of a difference in frame rate throughout our time with the game. Unfortunately, you can't test the difference by turning it on or off in-game.
When ray tracing is enabled, Gran Turismo 7's lighting looks incredible. The game is more realistic since you can see flickers of sunshine on the hood of your car. Gran Turismo 7's races can take place at various hours of the day, which creates some dynamic-looking moments.
