Elden Ring: How to Get the Coded Sword

For the game's merciless bosses, Elden Ring players, or the Tarnished, need the greatest armament they can get. In the Lands Between, you can choose from a variety of weaponry to face the difficulties that Elden Ring throws at you. However, there is one sword, in particular, the Coded Sword, that has a special ability that can greatly aid you on your trip. In Elden Ring, here's how to find the Coded Sword.

How to Get the Coded Sword in Elden Ring

Head to the Altus Plateau's capital to obtain the Coded Sword in Elden Ring. Before reaching the gigantic and multiple trumpet players in front of the Golden Seed tree, walk down the bridge and jump off the side. This will lead you to the sand-like area where there is a large tree root. Turn right and climb up onto the wooden shacks to the right, then enter via the door just above.

You'll find two things at the end: the Sanctified Whetblade and the Hammer. As you go, you will realize that you are entering what appears to be the Roundtable Hold. There is an item in the middle of the table. You will receive a Rune Arc if you pick it up. You will find another item in the chamber that ordinarily leads to the Two Fingers and the Rememberance Trader.

This is where your new Coded Sword will be found. The "Unblockable Blade" is its unique Weapon Skill, which "imbues the cipher blade with light, expanding its length, then strikes with a swift sweeping attack," according to the Unique Skill website. As the name says, the "Unblockable Blade" cannot be blocked. Because this weapon only deals with Base 85 Holy Damage, you just require 20 Faith to wield it.

The Coded Blade was a "secret sword originally granted to the Tarnished of the Roundtable by the Two Fingers," according to the flavor text. This weapon may be useful in clashes against intruders who shield up more frequently than you'd like. If you need to respec your character to use this blade, deliver a Larval Tear to Renalla, Queen of the Full Moon.
