Elden Ring: How to Get to Hermit Village
We can show you the path on the map from the Grand Lift of Dectus to Hermit Village in Elden Ring if you can't figure out how to get there. Exploration in Elden Ring isn't as simple as it appears. You know exactly where you should go, but you can't seem to find a means to get there! Finding paths to various secret areas is one of Elden Ring's fun puzzles that demands you to pay attention to your surroundings.
Hermit Town in Elden Ring is located in a relatively straightforward location on the map, but finding a path to the village will be difficult!
How to Get to Hermit Village in Elden Ring
Hermit Village is located southwest of Volcano Manor on Mt. Gelmir, but you must travel a long way to get there. The Hermit Village can be reached in two ways. Finding the Medallion halves for Grand Lift of Dectus and taking a risk-free path to the town is the simplest option. If you haven't yet activated the Grand Lift of Dectus, the second path to Hermit Village, which includes a monster encounter, is recommended.
The Altus Plateau path is easier and faster than collecting the Medallion parts from Fort Farogh and Fort Haight. At the very least, you won't have to deal with any bosses while collecting the Medallion halves.
Once you've activated the lift and arrived at Altus Plateau, head north of the lift to the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace, then follow the red path depicted in the image below until you reach the blue circle, which is Hermit Village. You will encounter two bosses on your route to the settlement, but you can ignore them and continue on your way.
