Elden Ring: Should you join Volcano Manor?

You'll be relieved to find a site of grace at the entrance to Elden Ring when you first arrive at Volcano Manor. However, once you've located the missing grace, you'll notice a woman and a huge knight in the back of the chamber. When you chat with the woman, she will ask whether you want to join Volcano Manor and combat the Two Fingers' wrongdoings. In Elden Ring, should you join Volcano Manor?

When you join Volcano Manor, you have access to the Drawing Room as well as a number of important equipment such as the Recusant Finger, Scaled Armor Set, and Magma shot. These aren't required for plot progression, but depending on the type of playing you're doing at the moment, they might be useful.

Nothing occurs if you refuse to join Volcano Manor. You'll be able to finish the game and progress through the plot. To become the Elden Lord in your game, you never have to speak to these two.

However, we're not sure what the story implications will be if you join Volcano Manor. We don't know if joining Volcano Manor and becoming Elden Lord grants this organization control over the Two Fingers.
