Ghostwire Tokyo: How gliding works

In Ghostwire: Tokyo, getting about the city can be deadly. With supernatural Visitors roaming the streets, if you're not careful, you can end up in a brawl if you turn the wrong corner. However, because of the map's immensity, you might prefer to stick to the roofs, which you can glide between. This is everything you need to know about gliding in Ghostwire: Tokyo.

When you take a tiny jump in Ghostwire, you can choose to start gliding. You must be in the air and hold the jump button, which is the 'x' on a PlayStation controller, to glide. When you notice a distinct blue halo on the outer perimeter of your screen and hear a slight whooshing sound, you're gliding. You can use the glide to fall gently to the ground, allowing you to leap between rooftops with a huge gap between them.

You want to leave a tiny amount of space in the ground between you and your opponent. You can activate the glide ability, for example, by jumping from the roof of a car. If you attempt to use it for more than a second or two, the gliding ability will activate.

The gliding does not endure indefinitely. The effect will eventually wear off, and if you're still in the air, you'll crash to the ground quite quickly. We don't believe there is any fall damage, thus you won't be wounded if you jump off a building and don't slide to the ground. Using your Skill Points, you can purchase the Amenokgami I, II, and III Skills on the Abilities Skill tree to extend your gliding time.
