Smilegate has been occasionally awarding Lost Ark gamers with in-game prizes. The makers celebrated the game's release in the west by giving away free in-game items. The company has also handed free Animal Skins as part of its apology recompense for all of the bugs that have plagued the game since its inception.

How to get the Animal Skins

The game's creators just published a blog post in which they addressed all of the bugs that have been reported. They claim that the fixes are on their way and that players will be compensated with new Animal Skins. Here are all of the prizes available to players:

• Jukebox songs
• Legendary Card Pack Selection Chest x2
• Lost Ark United Structure
• Menelik’s Tome x5
• Mokokon Pet Selection Chest
• Moko-board Mount Selection Chest

The awards were scheduled to be distributed in the first week following March 21, so they should be available soon after that date. It's unclear whether a special quest will be required to earn these goodies, so make sure to log in every day during the award time.

Despite the fact that athletes are receiving compensation, there are still a few concerns that need to be solved. Despite the game's western distribution, key important raids and end-game material that are otherwise available to South Korean players are absent. As time goes on, we can only hope that the devs will continue to improve the experience for western users.
