Lost Ark: How to get to Tranquil Isle
The late-game boss encounter on Tranquil Isle is unique and repetitive, with its own rare drop table of exceptional goodies. Normally, eager Lost Ark players would flock to Tranquil Isle in the hopes of landing some loot, but when they sail through Arkesia's northwest oceans, they'll often discover that Tranquil Isle doesn't exist — or, at the very least, doesn't exist for the majority of the day. In reality, Tranquil Isle is divided into a number of islands that rotate according to the date and local game time. While the isle is only available on particular days and for a short time, players should be able to track when it will resurface in order to make the most of their exploration time.
Locating Tranquil Isle
Players are likely to come to encounter a symbol in the shape of a palm tree connected to Tranquil Isle while sailing southwest of Arkesia's frigid northern continent of Shushire. However, when they arrive, they're likely to find more empty ocean in its place. This isn't a bug at all; in fact, it's a purposeful feature. Tranquil Isle and its loot are an uncommon and very effective form of account advancement, with the limited-time aspect of the world event serving to increase item rarity.
Tracking Adventure Islands with Procyon’s Compass
Procyon's Compass is a feature that allows you to better organize and access events by using the in-game calendar. Procyon's Compass maintains daily data on the many Field Bosses, Chaos Gates, Ghost Ships, and Adventure Islands that litter the world map, offering players with some direction as to where to travel next. It is stored in the player's HUD in the compass button on the panel placed under their minimap. With each passing day, the Adventure Islands category rotates a set of three late-game islands. These three islands will materialize at their predefined places across Arkesia once a day, approximately 11 p.m. ET, and will be available for players to explore for a brief period. The appearance of these islands is also reflected in the events calendar, the server-wide alarm system, and an ocean-wide alert for players who are already on the water.
When Tranquil Isle is one of the three Adventure Islands available on a given day, players can choose it from Procyon's Compass, which will turn its palm tree icon purple on the world map. This facilitates the procedure for sailors seeking adventure in its direction.
