Tunic: How to get the Old House key

The abandoned mansion is a notable landmark in Tunic's Overworld. Don't dismiss the presence of one unit of Tunic's currency in the residence as simple deception. It has a few key features that we'll go over later, but first, let's look at how to get it unlocked.

The Overworld becomes accessible once you get the sword. The majority of locations are only a few hedge trimmings away from being accessible. Head west from the Overworld's monument to the windmill to find the key to unlock the house. A trail leading behind the windmill can be found on its east side. Follow it around in a loop, and it'll lead you down a ramp into a tunnel with a glowing purple track running through it. Continue on until you reach a big chamber.

Go through the southern exit after descending the ladder to the south of the door. This will send you back outside. Follow the beach south and east after exiting the tunnel through the first ladder (you can ignore the turret that appears farther down). After passing under a bridge, look for a ladder that leads back up. The key you're seeking is there, but it's guarded by an Envoy.

It's difficult to get beyond the Envoy's protection, especially when you're dealing with rudelings. Dropping a bomb at their feet is a smart method to get them to drop that enormous block of metal. They will be rendered vulnerable if they are hit by any type of bomb.

Deal with the other foes and collect your reward. You can either retrace your steps and descend to the house by the ladder beside the windmill, or you can continue north and return to the house's plateau via the path.

You won't find anything in the house, but the bed will come in helpful later. However, a closer inspection reveals a route on the north side of the home that is partially hidden. You'll find a shield and a gate if you continue down this path. The gate leads to a locked door and the Overworld's exit. However, if you walk south in that chamber, you'll come across a strange space with 12 podiums. After you've acquired Tunic's hidden treasures, they'll be stored in this area.
