CD Projekt Red stated on today's financial conference call that Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a new expansion pack, which will be released in 2023. The paid expansion will be available in 2023, according to CD Projekt RED's most recent quarterly financial briefing, which may come as a disappointment to those hoping for a 2022 release.

CD Projekt Red did not explain why the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion arrived more than two years after the game's dismal and unsatisfactory launch, but the studio's post-launch preparations were clearly hampered by the controversial 2020 debut.
