Elden Ring: How to Defeat the Valiant Gargoyle
Elden Ring, like every other Soulsborne game, features numerous unique boss encounters that necessitate some time spent learning each opponent's weaknesses and devising a successful plan for defeating them. The Valiant Gargoyle is one of Elden Ring's dual bosses, and defeating them demands a unique strategy. So, here's how to take down the Valiant Gargoyle in Elden Ring.
How to Defeat the Valiant Gargoyle in Elden Ring
Valiant Gargoyle can be found in Nokron, Eternal City's Siofra Aqueduct area. The most difficult part of fighting the Valiant Gargoyle is when another monster comes halfway through a fight, leaving you with two Valiant Gargoyles to fight.
The first phase of this monster isn't very difficult, but as with every other boss fight in Elden Ring, it's important to proceed with caution. The first thing you should do is assault the first Valiant Gargoyle, delivering as much damage as you can while keeping an eye out for a stagger. You may finish the first boss swiftly once the second, Valiant Gargoyle (Twinblade), appears. Their assaults are simple to avoid, but be wary of the poison they spit forth.
Once the Valiant Gargoyle (Twinblade) appears, use Summon Spirits, such as the Jellyfish Ashes. That way, it'll be occupied with something else while you finish the first Valiant Gargoyle. Keep both Gargoyles on the screen if you can't stop the first one by then. This will make it easier to avoid most of their attacks.
The fights grow easier after you've slain the first Valiant Gargoyle. The second Valiant Gargoyle uses a Twinblade and a Great Axe alternately. When the gargoyle is wielding a Twinblade, try to avoid assaulting it because battling it with Great Axe is much easier. While fighting it, think about Summon Spirits once again. You will earn 32,000 Runes and obtain the Valiant Gargoyle Trophy after beating the second gargoyle.
