Elden Ring: How to obtain the Swarm of Flies

Elden Ring's spells, incantations, and weapon variety give players a lot of flexibility, allowing them to adapt their gameplay to the circumstances at hand as they explore the Lands Between. Faith and Arcane-based builds are fairly popular in the game, and the community has been having a lot of fun experimenting with some of the RPG's incantations. The Swarm of Flies is one such incantation that gamers are falling in love with since it helps adversaries build up Blood Loss, triggering the effect when the bar fills and causing huge damage. One of the more effective features in Elden Ring is Bleed or Blood Loss, which, when combined with Frost, makes some of the more challenging fights substantially simpler.

While the Swarm of Flies is highly sought after by those who use Runes in Faith and Arcane, the incantation itself is difficult to come by, and many members of the community appear to be having difficulty obtaining it. Hopefully, today's instructions will make the search much easier and assist those who are still looking for it.

Obtaining the Swarm of Flies in Elden Ring

Fans of Blood Loss will be disappointed to learn that the Swarm of Flies incantation is not available early in the game. The item is locked behind progression, and the Elden Ring Tarnished will have to complete a significant portion of the story before they can get their hands on it. The Swarm of Flies may be found at the Mountaintop of the Giants, a high-level place where those nearing the finish of Elden Ring can get entry. As a result, in order to obtain the incantation, players must:
  • Activate the Grand Lift of Rold to get entrance to the Mountaintop of the Giants, which can only be done when players have pieced together the two haves of the Haligtree Secret medallion. While the left half of the medallion is easy to get, the right part requires returning to Liurnia of the Lakes and obtaining it from the NPC who will be hiding behind a barrel.
  • Furthermore, putting the two pieces of the medallion together will not be the only requirement for entering the high-level area. In Leyndell, the Royal Capital, players must also fight Godfrey, First Elden Lord, and Morgott, The Omen King. Depending on the player's build, these two fights can be quite difficult to overcome. As a result, players may require some practice and numerous attempts to defeat them.
  • The Elden Ring Tarnished must now make their way to the Mohgwyn Palace region, which may be difficult to reach after climbing the Mountaintop of the Giants. If players complete Varre's mission, though, they will be able to quickly reach it.
  • Players will eventually obtain the Pureblood Knight's Medal by continuing his questline, which will teleport them to the region when they interact with the Waygate Teleporter located in the Yelough Anix Ruins in the Consecrated Snowfield.
  • Players must locate a cave on the northeast side of the blood swam after they arrive. They'll find the entrance that leads deeper into the dungeon there. Once inside, they'll come across a corpse with a glowing item drop symbol that, when interacted with, will reward them with the Elden Ring Tarnished with the Swarm of Flies.
The Swarm of Flies is an excellent spell for people who want to focus their Elden Ring build on Blood Loss. The incantation, which can be used while moving, summons a swarm of blood flies to attack the enemy in front of the player. The swarm is exceptionally rapid at doing damage and building up the Blood Loss meter, chunking foes out in a matter of seconds. In addition, the White Mask helm may be found in the region, which improves attack power by 10% when blood loss is inflicted.
