Final Fantasy XIV: How to get Thavnairian Corn

Final Fantasy XIV has a wealth of resources for you to discover. You'll want to get some of them to sell on the market or to give to your Free Company's artisans to use in their concoctions. Thavnairian Corn is one of those resources that you'll want to track out and locate. Before you can find it, there are a few things you need to perform. In Final Fantasy XIV, here's everything you need to know about getting Thavnairian Corn.

You must first unlock the Tome of Botanical Folklore before searching for Thavniarian Corn. You can find Potent Spice, Golden Cocoon, and Thavnarian Corn with this item. The Tome of Botanical Folklore – IIsabard and the Northen Empty may be purchased for 16 Regional Folklore Traders' Token C from the Splendors Vendor at Radz-at-Han. These Tokens may be purchased from Scrip Exchange vendors in all of the main cities, and each Token costs 100 White Scrips, so you'll need 1,600 White Scrips to purchase this item.

Thavnairian Corn may be found in The Shroud of the Samgha, on the east side of Thavnair, once you have obtained the Tome. You'll need to be a level 90 Botanist before proceeding to coordinates (X:25, Y:21). To find it, you have a Perception of 3,401 or higher. It's a timed resource node, which means it only appears between the hours of 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Eorzea Time, and between the hours of 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Eorzea Time on your in-game day, giving you plenty of chances if you keep an eye on the clock. To get to the spot, you'll need a flying mount, which will allow you to easily farm the corn for as long as you need to harvest it.
